About Our Dental Team
Dr.Sara Rouhani D.D.S - Family Dentist
Dr.Sara graduated from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 2008. She completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, receiving her certificate from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Dentistry runs in Dr. Sara’s family and during her 15 years of experience as a dentist she has consistently remained committed to staying current with the latest advancements in technology to provide the greatest care for her patients.
Dr. Sara’s mission is to deliver comprehensive dental services to all patients in a safe, reassuringly pleasant, and comfortable environment. She is currently an active member of the Canadian Dental Association and the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.
In her free time, Dr. Sara enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, dancing, swimming, yoga and playing table tennis.
Dr.Sara speaks English, Farsi and Turkish.
Cary Myhre - Certified Dental Assistant
Cary started her dental career in 2003 after graduating from VCC. She has been a long time staff member at our clinic. She creates a friendly environment in the office for patients of all ages and takes the time to provide individualized care. In her free time she enjoys travelling, cycling, skiing and hiking with her family and 2 Boston terrier dogs.
Mobina Mahdavian- Certified Dental Assistant
After graduating from Vancouver Community College, Mobina gained valuable experience working with dentists across various specialties. Her diverse background has helped her develop a strong clinical skill set and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
She loves being part of a team that empowers people to feel confident about their smiles. Mobina especially enjoys building genuine connections with patients and helping to ease any dental anxiety they may have.
Outside the office, Mobina enjoys hiking, trying new foods, watching movies, and discovering new music.
Kusum Walia- Dental Hygienist
Kusum is a skilled and compassionate oral health professional with over a decade of experience in dentistry. Originally trained and licensed as a dentist in India, Kusum has been proudly serving communities in British Columbia, Canada, as a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2020.
Her transition from dentistry to dental hygiene reflects both her adaptability and unwavering commitment to patient care. Known for her gentle approach, clinical precision, and dedication to educating patients, Kusum is passionate about promoting long-term oral health and building trust through personalized care.
Beyond her professional life, Kusum is a devoted mother to two beautiful daughters. She balances her career with family life while also prioritizing her personal wellness journey, embracing practices like intermittent fasting and holistic living.
Lesley - Receptionist
Lesley has the friendly voice that will greet you on your phone calls to our office. She received her Certified Dental Assisting Certificate from VCC in 1990 and worked as a certified dental assistant for 28 years before transitioning to the reception desk. She is caring and enjoys helping patients with their dental scheduling, insurance filing and any other issues that may arise. Lesley is married with Grown children and a Labradoodle pup which keep her busy. She loves swimming, biking hiking and traveling when enjoying time away from the office.
